On occasion, in his remarks, The Founding Vice-Chancellor of JGU Dr. (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar stated, “Today marks a landmark moment in the development of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) as we welcome our students on the campus of the University after two years of waiting. My heartfelt wishes go to the students who endured for over two years for this momentous day. They are among the most valued individuals in our school and the end, the reason we exist. In March of 2020, universities worldwide were confronted with an unprecedented problem in the form of COVID-19, a pandemic. The strain tested JGU’s resiliency also. In the wake of strict lockdowns across India and the world, JGU appeared to be an abandoned town and frequently felt spooked. With the anticipated return of students, it is now certain that the school will be revived and regain its soul and soul. The past two years have proved to be one of the most difficult years. The coronavirus pandemic that was discovered that triggered the world’s largest public health crisis in the year 2020 swiftly devolved into a social-economic catastrophe in all countries, with a particular focus in India after the second round of the outbreak brought about a lot of chaos in March and June 2021. However, I am happy to share that the unwavering passion, dedication, determination, energy, and energy displayed by members of the JGU community in the past two years allowed us to over the hurdles faced by the outbreak. The JGU community has once more demonstrated that, for every obstacle that we face, we can turn this into an opportunity to transform our lives for the better.”
